  • The hostel itself was adequate! There was a nice kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a nice area to congregate. The bedrooms were typical dorms and the beds were comfortable. The 24 hour security was very nice and convenient and the staff was helpful. The only bad thing about this hostel is the location. It is a good 20-30 minute (including walking, waiting, and riding) metro ride from downtown. Walking back late at night would just be out of the question. If you cant find closer hostel stay here

  • Nice place to stay in a quiet authentic neighbourhood, but farther from the downtown area. Friendly helpful staff-especially with directions/buses etc. Large kitchen/dining area but no stove for cooking, just a cooker to boil water-it´s ok though for boiling pasta. No breakfast or free tea/coffee-that would be nice.

  • This is really a nice place to stay. A little far from the Ramblas but it is great. You can rest reallyt well because they care about the noise and behaivor. They just need to put a big sign in order to get there because the address is stated as: 100 meters from the metro station wich is true but if it is your first time you can get lost. Neverthless it is a great place to be and I'll be back once get in Barcelona again.

These cities come at a cost and just one cocktail can run upwards of $15. Luckily there are so many other beautiful cities around Europe which offer an exciting nightlife at half or even a third of the cost.
