Arthy´s is a family run hostel and Rueben and his family are very warm friendly and full of information. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Great salon to watch t.v. or dvds or just relax. There is a nice kitchen and eating area if you feel like cooking in. The only draw back is the showers are hit or miss in the hot and cold. But eveything else is so great we over look that.

fantastic an dedicated staff helped me out with lost baggage etc and were very accomodating and nice. The atmosphere of theplace is nice and relaxed and was suited to a relaxed time in La Paz.

Hostel was really very nice and friendly and clean. The only bad thing i can say about is was the 12 o clock curfew. Everything else was super!

I'm not sure about location as I only had 1 night in La Paz - so not sure where is best to stay, but it was not far from shops, bars, restaurants etc. It was extremely clean and the staff were REALLY friendly and helpful.

We were really happy with Arthys. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and showed genuine concern when I was ill.The hostel was spotless and all areas constantly been cleaned.It is very relaxed and chilled which is helped by the availiblity of DVDs . We will definitelty recommend Arthys to anyone going to La paz.

Highly reccomend this hotel. The family that owns it is incredibly friendly and helpful, esp. Rueben. The hotel is spotless, very quiet (double windows to block noise), safe, well-lit and well run. The owners speak English well and the shared areas (bathrooms, showers, common room, kitchen) are the cleanest I've ever seen. Stay here!!

The staff is incredible nice and helpful. The Guesthouse is very quite even it's next to the main road. It's nothing for people who search a party place. i really enjoyed staying at this place!

A must do when in La Paz, Ruben is a great help on information about the city. Close to the bus station and very quiet, great deal are de free DVD's and for a few Bol. they make a CD with your pictures.
