Was a really great stay, even though they had overbooked on the double room I had originally wanted they found a compromise. Other than that great location, friendly staff, loads of facilities! Thanks!

good times and great staff, could have improved food options and revamp of bar, rooms a little unclean with strange stains, but for the price and the fun i had it was worth it. the guy on the tour desk was especially helpful and able to offer advice - thanks.

Great hostel, lots of fun random activities to keep you entertained, the "slightly out of the way" location is not really a problem as there's a free hourly hostel shuttle bus into town. Recommend this place.

I felt that the private rooms were not that private, you could hear absolutely everything that was going on outside your room and above your room. We were awoken before 8am by management complaining to a room about a fire alarm and birds outside the room, I understand that the hostel is situated in reserve but i do not want to be awoken at silly 'o'clock in the morning by some birds. Perhaps they should look at soundproofing the rooms so they are in fact private.

This was one of my worst experiences at a hostel. the arts factory is built up to far more than it should be. All that i need for a hostel to be great is helpfull staff and clean rooms. i found neither of these 2 things in the arts factory! yea they offer activities and a cool vibe but when your room is invested with cockroaches and all reception do is give you some spray it kind off out wieghs the extras. Also the prices of on site food and internet are ridiculously high for a backpackers!

We had a great stay except for the last night. Our only overhead light was burned out. The staff attempted to fix it for us but it was a problem that went beyond the bulb. Therefore, we had only a dim lamp and were left to pack our bags with flashlights of our own. As it was an inconvenience to us, we asked for a discount upon check-out...no such luck. 100 dollar room with no lights was still 100. A bit much! Otherwise fun place...reccommend Che in the diji pit!!
