Ashoka Hostel in Other Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The staff was extreamly friendly and helpful. The place was also very clean. I had booked a single room with Bathroom attached. The room was extreamly tiny, just enough space for a bed. I had not expected that. Sudeep, from India ~ 11th Oct 2009

Sonia was very helpful and was a great help not sure how it would of worked without her as she always went that little bit extra to help out. We was also very impreased with the level of security at the hostel not only was they all very nice but also very helpful and ready to help out. it's located in tsimsatsui st. even though the room is quite small, it wouldn't be matter when you go out a lot, but if you want to take a rest in hostel, you'd better consider good hotel. you can think hostel is just the place that sleeping and putting your luggage. on the whole, this place is good for price and most of all, the location is the best. The staff was very poor at this hostel. I had booked a room at a very good price, and upon arrival I was told by the hostel manager that he had made a mistake and I was very lucky to still get the room but then I was brought to another hostel which apparently is under his managemnt,"disneyworld hostel". From that point it seemed that he was trying to scam me every chance he could get,to get me to pay more than I had already paid by telling me the towels cost extra. Never stay here again. it is perfect! very well priced, perfect location and the staff are very very helpful and friendly! Super clean, we had a double room private ensuite and we could not have asked for better! we have travelled alot and its our second time in HK, and we recommend our best friends to go to Ashoka hostel!
