I booked it , went in and left :). It's a great place for people aged 18-21. Nice party atmosphere, very nice staff, however for someone who is used to any comfort it's not quite the place you are looking for. The room was so small the door would not open completely because the bed was in the way, no place to sit, you can only squeeze in and sleep. 2 miles from there is a Travelodge where I booked a 3 person hotel room for less than the rate at the Astor Museum Inn. Me and my 4 friends were staying there for 3 nights. We had the best time in London and were only in the hostel to sleep there. But when we were there it was great. Nice young staff. The hostel was clean and there were enough bathrooms etc. The only problem was when we came there we expect to had a 6-bed room but there was something wrong with that room so we winded up in a room for 8. nie mehr! einfach nur ekelhaft! bin überhaupt nicht zimperlich. daher mein Motto, wenn´s mal nicht so passt: "man is ja nur zum pennen hier". war auch schon in mind. 20 anderen Hostels, aber das war mit abstand das schlimmste! wurden in einem nebengebäude untergebracht. decke und wände extrem runtergekommen, kein waschbecken auf der toilette, toilette war nicht absperrbar, schmutz überall (Decke, Kissen...) und das schlimmste war dieser Gestank! besser ist das astor-victoria! I had a nice stay at this hostel... The only point is... that's impossible to get a hot shower.. I don't know if it's because i'm not lucky or something? But still, if i forget that point it was great... If you like dorms.. because you know.. This is by far one of the worst hostels I've ever been. Although perfectly located, that doesn't justify the high price. The rooms and bathrooms are very dirty, with a lot of notices to improve security in order to rent the locks in the reception. The staff is unfriendly and if you have any question you'll probably have to check if they are not smoking, drinking or chatting between them and in some cases they laughed at some customers and used sarcastic comments at some of my questions.
