Great staff, great location. Not the cleanest bathrooms and toilets, but still a great place. Would stay there again, defenetley. Not to recomend for people who don't like stairs though. I sure got my exercise for the weekend, living on top flor. Ida, from Sweden ~ 3rd Nov 2009

I spent one night in Astor Hostel, and it was good. Helpful staff, clean rooms but really hot, even in october. It would be better if we could wash hands outside the bedrooms. Claire, from France ~ 28th Oct 2009

The location of the hostel is really good. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hostel isn't luxurious but the price/quality ratio is good and everything worked well. Anssi, from Finland ~ 9th Sep 2009

liked this place a lot and the staff were heaps friendly. good location (hyde park is only up the road). only problems would be that there is a lot of stairs and the bathrooms can get hot inside because there are no windows. Melinda, from Australia ~ 28th Aug 2009

The hostel was okay, but it was sweltering hot. The bathroom (with the shower) ventilated directly into our room, and our room had a window that opened about two inches. It was so hot at night that it made sleeping difficult. I wouldn't stay here in the summer. Matthew, from USA ~ 30th Aug 2009
