We had the most incredible room here at the hostel, a very nice bathroom and kitchenette, clean room with amazing balcony with stunning acropolis view! We couldn't have dreamed of anything more perfect. Were able to wake up early and head up the hill for the sunrise (after quiet, air conditioned sleep!) Breakfast was really insubstantial (coffee fruit and bread) and the bed was HARD but those were our only complaints! Carly, from USA ~ 31st Aug 2011

Athenstyle has so much going for it: fantastic location, great style, and the best roof top bar in Athens.It waspretty incredible to be able to enjoy some drinks, meet people, all while taking in the view of the Acropolis.The building and rooms were well taken care of.Definitely THE best place to stay while in Athens. Although very small, the roof top bar has really nice views of the Acropolis and Temple of Zeus. Very centrally located, but right next to a very, very loud night club which makes it hard to sleep. Drains in the shower did not work and flooded the bathroom regularly. Don, from USA ~ 18th Jul 2011

Ok hostel, maybe not worth what it charges. The free breakfast is a joke, not much on offer. If you need yo get up early or get a good nights sleep then definitely choose somewhere else as there is an extremely noisy bar right next door and you wont get a wink!
Dear Kate, in a time when most hostels have started charging breakfast separatly we have made the decision to still offer our breakfast for free. We think It is a good way to start your day, and Athens is so inexpensive if you would like to top it up with a 2 euro Gyros that it really makes it easy. We still feature a little bit of everything: hot drinks, fresh oranges, 2 types of cereal with fresh milk, freshly baked bread from the local bakery and spreads! As for the bar next door, it is only open on Saturdays, when the whole city centre is big night life spot!

Athenstyle is amazing!We were a short walk from the Acropolis, the metro and a 24 hour bakery. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is really nice and has great views. I really enjoyed my stay. Cayla, from USA ~ 14th May 2011
