Atlanta International Hostel in Waterloo, USA

We chose this hostel because it was advertised that there was parking. When we got there, the staff notified us that there was no longer parking and we would have to find our own. So at 2am we were looking for parking, as no suggestions were made as to where there was parking by any of the staff. Hint, the next street over has free parking in a safe looking environment. The staff was very friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised at just how close it is to central locations in Atlanta. The beds aren't particularly great, but for a hostel they're pretty average. Quite pleased with my choice. Michael, from USA ~ 7th Dec 2011

Although overall quite nice, the hostel rooms and bathrooms were incredibly, outrageously dirty. Another thing is the total lack and/or poorness of the PROMISED breakfast. these 2 things corrected would make it a wonderful place. Yaroslava, from Russia ~ 1st Dec 2011

We loved the location - very convenient to the MARTA metro.The staff were very friendly and helpful if we asked, but didn't give us much of an overview when we got there like hostel staff often do.Also, just a heads up, breakfast includes toast and coffee. Amanda, from USA ~ 18th Oct 2011

The owner is very friendly and accommodating.The location in MidTown ATL is excellent.Walking distance to a grocery store or places to eat. Older building that could use some maintenance but that is to be expected for hostels.Traditional hostel experience here. It's clean and the time I was there, the travelers did not turn the place into a pig stye.Learn how to use the MARTA to get around the city to enjoy it if you don't have a car.Happy traveling!! it's a hostel. so it's not that super duper clean... but people who stay at hostels know that quite well. that doesnt count. met some nice folks there and had a good start for my east coast roadtrip heading up till new york. would definitely stay there again, cause it has a really nice character and the people working there are really nice. location is great as well. wanted to stay in downtown first. lucky that i changed my mind and chose the hostel in midtown.
