Place was very nice ... specially with the view on Prague's roof : I liked it very much ! It is also very well located, just few minutes far away from all important sites. Staff was fluent in english and very friendly.

the hostel does not have breakfast, but I read somewhere that it was included. The street the hostel is on is a little sketchy, but it is a safe place to stay. This hostel is not 24 hour reception so don't even book your arrival time after 7 pm, because they won't be there and they won't care that you have arrived later. We had to pay for another hotel and the hostel for one nite!

I would say the best hostel in prague, easily. Staff was wonderfully helpful, even staying later then required to accommodate late arrivals, by far the most comfortable bed i've slept on in ages. The location is second to none, right on Wencelas Square and a stones throw away from fantastic and pretty cheap food as well as the super club (which u gotta check out--karlovy lazne by charles bridge). When i come back to prague i'm gonna stay here again! keep up the good work Atlas staff.

Good basic accomodation, excellent location but probably more like 10-15mins to old town, not 5min like advertised.

I want to add that the place can be quite loud, depending on your neighbours. On the last floor (5th without lift), the walls are so thin that sometimes you think you share the room with your neighbours... And since the door lets the light in, so it's impossible to sleep if someone doesn't turn off the light in the common room.

Overall, I felt I got exactly what I payed for staying at Atlas Hostel -- good location for a budget price. The hostel is very close to Wenceslas Square, and easy walking distance to Old Town. You can get to the castle district very easily via the subway stop at the end of Wenceslas Square. I don't have much experience with hostel living, but it didn't seem like Atlas was a classic "party" hostel. Though there are opportunities to meet other travelers, it is not designed around a central room for partying and socializing. But we were there to see the city, not the hostel. I was only in the building to sleep. Staying on the top floor (five flights, no elevator) was a little inconvenient, but it's the price you pay for not spending more to stay in a hotel. The hostel was clean and more than adequately secure (you go through 2 to 3 locked doors to get to your room). Numerous bars, restaraunts, and yes, strip clubs, are in easy walking distance. Have fun...

This was a great hostel. If you like hot strippers they are around the corner from this place. It is also minutes away from old town. It is very easy to get a taxi for the airport from here wich will cost you about $35. The place was very clean and helpfull for the tourism part. Their is also a sweet bar around the club. Free internet, friendly servious, etc....Over all I would recamend! Nothing bad to say honestly!

Ideally situated just off Wenceslas Square. The rooms are on the top (5th) floor which quite a hike.
