staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but the sitdown shower took some getting used to. The location was close enough to the main metro line but was a few stops in to central Paris.

The location is noisy!! My room faced the street and the blue neon sign shone in my room. I slept terribly.

this is not your typical hostel, this is a hotel. it is a nice place with all the furnishings and security of a hotel. very nice and helpful staff. breakfast was nice and had more than a croissant. location was in east paris, but on a nice street in the Jewish Quarter. there is a fantastic pastery shop across the street and a grocery store across the street as well. the metro is a block away, so transportation is VERY convenient and easy. i would definitely stay here again.

Real hotel will all the ammenities, staff is absolutely wonderful and very welcoming. It was very nice to stay here at the end of our trip, after a string of less-than-comfortable hostels. Sometimes it's worth a little extra money to have a clean, private shower and toilet, and a comfortable room. Overall very good quality for the price.

This is a hotel, not a hostel so if you are looking to meet other travelers you might want to consider another place. However, this was a very good value and the staff were helpful and nice. Highly recommended!

As far as hostels go, this is one of the best I have stayed in. It is more of a hotel than hostel with its own bathroom in each room. The only thing it lacked was a bar fridge and airconditioning or fan which is really needed in the middle of summer. Otherwise, there is always a staff member available at the desk 24/7 and always willing to help if needed. Each room gets fresh towels and is cleaned each morning but you don't have to worry about being kicked out by a certain time as the cleaning staff are happy to wait for you to leave for the day. The hotel is very quiet and there is a elevator for those who need to go up several floors. AS for location, it isn't exactly in the middle of all the tourist acttractions however there are excellent restaurants and the shops don't charge tourist prices plus it is only a few minutes ride on the metro to get to the tourist sites so I thought it was a great location. I would definately stay here again.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was warm and clean. It was a little bit small. We would like to stay there again.
