  • They require you to give them passport/ID as a "key deposit", and I had hard time getting my docs back. The lady at the front desk didn't have access to the documents and told me to wait for another guy who would come after 9am (she didn't know when exactly). It was 7:30am and I told them the day before that I would be leaving ~ 7am. This lady was extremely rude and acted like she really didn't care. She refused to call that guy! Not fun when you are leaving the country&are stuck with no docs.

  • My personal staff were stollen when I stored my luggage in the hostel!!!They don't have lockers or special rooms for travelers to keep there luggage~~ They don't really care about our staff!!! And the crowed room and the poor bathroom ~~ I suggest the owner to experience one night in the hostel~~The price is so attractive that I will once again choose this hostel if I back to Avignon next time. Thus I sincerely want them to improve their service rather than put strong emphasis on earning money!

  • No common space (only restaurant), no kitchen. The receptionist was the slowest person I've ever met (3 people served in more than 30 minutes).

  • The hostel shares a property with a campground and some of the facilities are shared. In the campground, the vast toilets have NO soap, tissue or toilet seats. Facilities inside weren't much better. Security appears excessively strict with big nightclub-type bouncers at the gate but anyone can walk in via the restaurant adjescent to the property. Bedroom doors do not lock automatically. Dorm was nice and spacious, quiet enough and comfy. REALLY busy in summer Includes a nice breakfast
