This is a really modern hostel and has everything you need in house!Its right in the middle of things! the staff are very friendly! I would recommend it to everyone!

I found my room disappointing - matresses were springy, and a lack of ventilation meant that the room smelled overwhelmingly like boys' sweaty gym socks. Individual lights would be a suggestion to enable guests to go to sleep at different times without disturbing others. Otherwise a satisfactory hostel, with adequate kitchen, helpful staff, and good internet facilities (global gossip).

The room was too hot and although we asked several times about why this was, no one seemed to care/do anything about it. We also booked a 4 bed room and were given a 6 bed which was no big deal, really, except that they lied and while i didn't think of it at the time, I suspect that the 6 bed room may have been cheaper and so I was over charged. The showers sucked, and so did the way that no one told us where they were - what hospitality. :|

I dont know how, but on level 9 where we were sleeping, the carpet was soaked in one patch. The room itself was nice. But the bathrooms were easily not the best I had used in my whole new zealand trip. Atleast one of the two bathroom hooks in each shower was upside down. I think the showers could be improved with a shower curtin or some sort of bench would be good too.

it's the worst backpacker I've never seen. For a "Base" bacpacker is not a good reputation....
