Great staff, San helped me correct a booking error politely, efficiently and WITHOUT A FEE! The location is about a 10 minute walk from the temple and parking was easy enough. Definitely recommend this place. Stefany, from USA ~ 31st Jul 2011

The private room w/prvt bath was 1000x better than any cheap motel which would have been more expensive and not as clean. The dorm rooms are also spacious and I've never had to share my room because the hostel is so large they're able to spread ppl out. Kitchens are well-equipped & clean. I feel safe as a woman because the female floor is separate and men aren't allowed. The manager San is just so friendly and will help you with any concerns you may have. I loved the Avenues Hostel. The crowd is a little older so there isnt necesarrily that fun atmosphere, but there are great amenities, security, and a free breakfast! what else could you want?! Michael, from USA ~ 16th Jun 2011

I liked staying here.It was in a very pretty area of the city and walking distance to downtown and sight seeing.The kitchen was great, with an oven and a microwave, and the people were helpful and friendly.I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the Salt Lake Area. This hostel was in a quiet, residental area. A nice place to stay, quite close to the city (5min drive). Staff were really friendly and upgraded us to a bigger room. The kitchen was clean and they provided a good breakfast. Catherine, from England ~ 31st Mar 2011
