We turned up at the hostel and the owner had yet again over booked and told us he would be putting us up in hotel 3 blocks away for the same price. Was not very impressed, I booked this hostel because of the good reviews but the owner makes you feel like all he does is fib.

Wonderful owner and very accommodating staff - if you so desire, Angelo can plan your entire stay in Lima with recommendations for restaurants (the places that locals will wait two hours to get into!) and suggested sites of interest. Our room was sufficient for our needs (we watched lots of music videos in our downtime in the evening) though a little worn around the edges. Breakfast was filling enough to get to almuerzo: bread and jam, coffee, tea, and juice.

Angelo was extremely helpful. Our experience in Lima would not have been nearly as great if we had not talked to Angelo before setting out to explore the city. The B&B was clean, in a great location, and safe.

Would highly recommend this place to ANYONE who is interested in getting a local's view on Peru as well as some very invaluable hosptitality and service. The owner, Angelo, and his family made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and we definitely felt like a member of the family by the time we left! I actually didn`t get to stay at this hoatal, they were over booked eventhough I wrote them in advance and the night before, they did not inform me that they did not have room for me but confirmed my stay. Stayed in a hotel around the block which was no what I wanted. Angelo is a great guy but needs to expand or be more turthful with clients overall my trip was ok.
