B&B Livia Oliva in Pisa, Italy

Loved the location on the island just outside the Venice mainland. Really nice base from which to go and explore without being too entangled with the heavy tourism when in want of some relaxation. Great hostel, with awesome breakfast. This hostel was so good that I was not sure wheater to keep it a secret or share. Located at Lido, the island outside of Venice. Big room, with private bathroom, and a fan. Close to the beach (5min to walk), to the boat to Venice (10 min to walk), a store to buy food (5min to walk). Overall excellent! Lovely little B&B run by a very helpful lady. Room was clean and safe, with a nice bed and an electric fan. Bathroom was also very clean and new. Breakfast was great - home made jams, breads and coffee. Lido island has a nice beach for the city weary traveller to rest on, although the island is about 20 mins on the vaparetto from the main tourist areas. Jonathan, from England ~ 3rd Sep 2011

Nice staff and breakfast on the terrace is one of the highlights of this location. Also the rooms are nice decorated. The hostel is located outside the historic city at a bigger island. But you can make this by boat in less then 15 minutes and the ticket is included in the venice transportation-daypass. Perfect when you want to get out of the noisy city after a long day.
