I was disappointed with the location, as it was a good 40 mins walk from Las Ramblas. The room was exceptionally basic with two camp beds and a small table. No other facilities. The bathroom was shared and we had to pay an extra 40 euros for arriving after 12 pm, this was not a requirement at any of the other hostels we stayed in.

I liked this hostel a lot. The location was great, right by catalunya square and la rambla. It's nice that it had a kitchen, even though you had to share it with other guests. Also, there were a lot of bathrooms there (two with showers), which is nice when there are a lot of people living in the flat. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. My only problem with the place was the size of the rooms. If you book a twin private, do not expect to have any room. Basically just a bunkbed. That's it. In addition, there was no common room, aside from the kitchen. But, if you book a bed(s) in a six-person mixed dorm, there is a lot of room in there. So unless you have problems living with other people, I would recommend booking the six-bed mixed dorm, rather than a private room. But all in all, fun hostel, fun city.

We were very disappointed to find out that the hostel was not situated near the Rambla. When we booked the room on your webside it seemed as if the hostel was situated right were your office is. Instead we had to travel 3 stops with the Metro. I think you should make it clear where your hostels are situated.

This was a good hostel with a great location, and an actual kitchen, which was great! Nevertheless, the Internet does not work on the computer in the apartment, nor does the Wifi connection. And, no one seemed in a hurry to fix it, so don't expect to get online. Furthermore, none of the staff was from Barcelona, much less Spain, which meant they weren't knowledgeable about the city at all. All in all, it was a decent place to stay and I'd consider staying here again.

This hostel was okay. We stayed in a 6 person room. The best part of the hostel was the location. The staff were very nice, but having the office almost a 10 minute walk away was fairly inconvenient. I felt the hostel was a little dirty, I found both a broken glass and a condom wrapper under my bed, and there was a hole in our ceiling. The apartment we stayed in was definitely not as nice as the pictures.

This is not a traditional hostel instead they are renting rooms which a spread all over the city center. For example ours was right a the big avinguda north of plaza cataluna, so it was quite noisy, but nevertheless it was very central.

The accomodation (double with en-suite)was good value for money, private and was an apartment rather than hostel. This "loft" was in Barceloneta on the 2nd floor of a traditional apartment building (on Carrer dels Safarigis). This is is the harbour area and is an ideal location: 2 mins to beach. 5 mins to the El Born area, 10-15 minutes to Le Ramble and Barri Gothic. Only downside is that the apartment could use a lick of paint and a better cleaner. On arrival, dont be put off by the shabby looking office. To get to the apartment there is a 15 min walk/metro ride to Barceloneta metro station from the BCN Loft office. All in all a fantastic holiday!
