The place is very clean, with a very good infrastructure and very nice and helpful staff, they always help you with whatever you need with a smile, The only problem might be the location because it is hard to find but they offer a free pick up service from airport and bus station so you won't have a problem. The only thing is that the prices in the restaurant are very expensive for the Cambodia standards, they obviously charge you low in the room specting you to eat in the restaurant (you don't Daniel, from Peru ~ 31st Oct 2009

The Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse was a great stay in Cambodia after staying in hostels in expensive cities like Hong Kong and Singapore, it was great to pay only US$20/night for a private room (double bed) with private bathroom! They arranged for free pick up at the airport with a tuk tuk driver that I ended up hiring for my three day trek around the Temples of Angkor. A very clean and tastefully built hostel..it is conveniently located within 10-15 mins walk from the Old Market and Pub Street..rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable..in-house food is decent..staff is very friendly, especially Sothearith who was very helpful..only downside is, they do not accept credit card payment, which was troublesome as we had almost run out of cash at the time of check out..
