A small backpacker with a calm atmosphere. People respect your night sleep (thanx also to the good matress) and wake up the morning (with the smell of the warm coffee coming from the kitchen) to enjoy their stay. Closed to plaza de Catalunia, it is a perfect place to visit Barcelona. Even if the bedrooms are mixed, there are enough rooms (nice toilets, showers..) to get dressed. A place I would really advice for people who want to visit Barcelona (but not for the one who want to spend their day Cecile, from France ~ 16th Nov 2009

Very close to metro stops, just a short walk to La Rambla (10 minutes), and in a good neighborhood. Quiet after 11 PM so if you want sleep, go here. Good locker system with large lockers so you can fit everything inside. Breakfast was basic, toast with jam and mini muffins, coffee, juice... but good. Kitchen is open for use all day (but closed after 11 for quiet hours). Very clean and others staying there were polite and respectful. Michelle, from USA ~ 9th Nov 2009

Would come here again. Lots of open space to meet other people in the hostel, good cleaniness, decent Spanish breakfast, huge lockers, small hostel--in total it fits probably 32-40 people. Yvonne, from Germany ~ 11th Oct 2009

I've been staying in several hostels in Barcelona and feels like this one is the best. The hostel has everything you need, the staffs were very nice. I'll surely stay in this hostel for my next trip in barcelona. Wasanchai, from Thailand ~ 5th Oct 2009

I loved staying at Casanova BCN!!I spent there almost a week. The staff was very nice and helpful all the times and the dormitories and bathrooms and showers VERY clean (especially when Andrea is on duty) :) There were no activities but I met a lot of very friendly people and enjoyed "making up" activities with them outside the hostel!Great location! My stay wouldn't have been the same if I stayed some place else!Great quality/price! Great place! Very clean and quiet and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good and safe- not right in the centre (which I preferred) but only a 10min walk away and bars and restaurants right outside and supermarket nearby. Good to have breakfast included although some cereal would have been good! My only issue is that you pay 10euro deposit for a room key but no-one ever locked the door so it was kinda pointless- maybe staff could tell people to lock it? Kirsty, from England ~ 4th Aug 2009

A really good hostel to visit barcelona. Close to Ramblas (10mn walk) and plaza catalunya, VERY VERY clean, security is high to prevent strangers. It seems to me it's totally new. I really recommend the place for travellers wishing to enjoy barcelona but willing to have the ability to rest well at night. Thibaut, from France ~ 17th Aug 2009

Super clean hostel in a great location. Kind of cosy so that you can actually get to know some people. Having a kitchen with heaps of facilities was brilliant too. Zinzi, from Germany ~ 15th Jul 2009
