Backpackers BCN Diputació in Berlin, Spain

My boyfriend and I choose this hostel based on online reviews. The location was not on a busy main street which exposed places for local food and better prices. Still is was easy walking distance to main attractions and shopping. There was also easy access to take trips outside and around Barcelona due to proximity of metro and buses (Barcelona Card highly recommended!). Being that it was our first time staying at a hostel, we are more than satisfied. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hostel itself was excelent. It is at a great location, only about 15 minutes by walking from the centar of the city and many other tourist attractions. Other than that, it was very clean. Hola, It is a very nice, clean, quiet & well-organised hostel but the room space is a bit small. Hope the hostel could put a clearer signboard so that it is easier for everybody to find. I stayed there for 1 night already but still passed by sometimes. One more thing, it would be great if there was a sign like "Backpackers BCN Diputacio" in the corner of Diputacio & Passeig de Gracia :) I will recommend it to my friends who want to visit BCN. Very nice hostel, very clean and nice atmosphere. Good breakfast including in the price and the staff is very nice. Location is pretty good, you can take the subway on the corner and in 1 stop your downtown. Security is also good, everyone has a big locker for your suitcase and there is someone present 24h. Let me begin by saying that my idea of fun is not partying like crazy, and this place was perrrfect.That is not to say that party people should steer clear- the hosts can guide you to plenty of bars and such.I had such a nice relaxing time there, I am actually returning in two nights.It is lovely.The ten bed dorm is way more spacious than it sounds- it is actually divided into two rooms.I slept like a rock, the beds are comfy and the ceilings are very high so don't worry about bunk beds.It is i Heather, from USA ~ 26th Jun 2011
