  • One of the best hostels I ever stayed at. Francesco works at the hostel and is the best to get people together and show people around!

  • Needs a touch of paint. 4 out of 5 toilets had no toilet paper in the morning even though there was a guy there cleaning up empty bottles in the kitchen. Location is excellent. Staff is friendly. Would stay again.

  • I was only able to stay at Backpackers Göteborg for one night. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They got me right in to do some much needed laundry and explained the check in/checkout process thoroughly. Additionally, several staff members were very helpful in explaining how to get around town and to the airport via city transit. If I'm ever in Göteborg again I'll definitely look to come back. Thanks Weston

  • The guy at the night reception was very nice and helpful. Since I had a lot of luggage he told me that I can leave it in the luggage room next to the reception and that there was someone at the reception 24/7. I had to leave early the next morning to go to an important meeting. None was at the reception! A sign said "Back soon". I've waited for 45min!! The kitchen lady chose to completely ignore me. When I finally was able to get a hold of her she opened the room for me. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

  • Had a nice location, not particularly central, but near a park and some hire bikes to zoom into the centre. Hostel felt quite big and a little bit soulless, but the rooms were nice and had good kitchen/communal space, cleaned regularly. Staff were helpful too. I'd recommend.

  • Good atmosphere! Close to a huge park. Only about 15-20 minutes away from where all the clubs and bars are. Good value for the money! Don't buy the breakfast unless you know you will make it on time because even though it's good, it's a bit pricey and no refunds If u purchase a ticket.

  • Staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful. The rooms were very clean and organised. There are plenty of shared bathrooms. We didn't have to wait much. Location wise the hostel is quite good. The kitchen looked great. All in all there is nothing I can complain about.
