Has lockers in room. I walked evrything by foot. 20 min to the opera. Supermarkt around the corner. Awesome staff!Really helpful and great berakfast! Tanja, from Germany ~ 16th Nov 2009

This hostel is a must for backpackers in Sydney! The staff are mostly backpackers, and there is always someone to meet. There is also nightly entertainment (the Friday Sausage Sizzle is unmissable). If you like to party, this is perfect for you! You even get free drink coupons if you book more than 3 nights! The hostel is also well maintained, and the security gates and lockers will keep all of your stuff safe. Long termers are also welcome (most of the guests I met were). It's just great! This hostel was really cheap to stay at, and the staff were extremely nice and helpful... however, it was not the cleanest of places, and the location was in the dodgier parts of sydney. I would stay there again if I was on a low budget (because it includes free breakfast!), but I would not be my first choice. Christina, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2009

good enough. i think all hostels have cleanliness issues but a hoover of the rooms would be a good idea, and shampoo the floor. not a party place, but good if you don't want people rustling bags all night and disturbing your sleep. paul, from Scotland ~ 12th May 2009
