- “ Really nice hostel, the ambience and atmosphere in the common rooms is real nice, and the location is very close to the station! ”

- “ We loved staying at K's. It was actually our second time there - we were there 2 years ago for a few nights as well. It was the most comfortable bed we had on our entire 3.5 week trip. We love K's and the staff is really helpful. It's about a 7 minute walk from the Kyoto JR station, which is perfect for us, especially since the buses also leave from the train station. ”

- “ I made a mistake in my booking, and ended up mixing up the dates of my reservation. Despite the fact that the hostel was booked up that evening, they were nice enough to call a nearby hostel, secure a spot for me, and give me directions to the new place. Excellent service, and a great location! Thanks again to all the staff at K's House! ”

- “ K's is an amazingly friendly and helpful place! I would recommend staying here 100%!! They helped me book a round trip bus ticket to Hiroshima, which was a HIGHLIGHT of my week in Japan! They made phone calls and printed out my bus tickets for me! I felt extremely supported and cared for by the staff, and as a woman traveling alone, I can't thank you enough!! Keep up the great work!! ”

- “ We had a great time at this hostel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even made phone calls for us to help with translation when we had lost some of our belongings at another location. The hostel is also located close to a lot of subway lines, so it's very convenient. ”

- “ It was my first time choosing and staying in a hostel on my own so I was quite worried, but I really needn't have. The directions were easy to follow, it was only a short walk from the station, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was clean! It was lovely and I would definitely stay there again! ”

- “ It's about a 15 minute walk from the Kyoto station, the area is a bit dark and quiet but there are a few restaurants nearby. It's a large place and there are two towers, but one doesn't have a lift, which was annoying with luggage. Nice bar/restaurant and American-style breakfast (¥600). Staff was efficient but not overly friendly. ”

- “ Excellent place. It's about 15-20 minutes walk from the JR station, but there's a bus stop nearby the hostel which will take you to the tourist attraction. Rooms and toilets are clean. Shared kitchen which is fully equipped. Definitely recommend this! ”

- “ Great place to meet people an share experiences. Just one thing: the room, on the first floor, was so so wet. We find the papers and clothing soaked after the whole day with the air conditioning off. ”

- “ By the far the best hostel I stayed in while traveling around Japan, but that isn't saying much. Overall Japan's hostel culture is poor. ”

- “ I stayed here for a full week. I kept buying a new room the morning after my last stay. The location is GREAT - just 5-10 min walk from the train station and really centrally located to all of the attractions. Great ramen spot nearby too. The hostel has so many helpful tips and advice for seeing Kyoto. Very clean! ”
