this place has a lovely walk into town, and is near a great view point, and the people working there were sweet. sean, from Ireland ~ 16th Jan 2012

I don't usually write these reviews for hostels, but this hostel was really disapointing. The shower (although hot) was dirty, no lockers, no kitchen, no breakfast, no maps given, and the common room is really dark and dingy. It was located right next to the Alhambra entrance, but if you wanted to go out at night or go to any shops it was a 15 - 20 minute walk away from everything along quiet dark streets. Also, the pool terrace area was closed off. Jane, from Scotland ~ 3rd Nov 2011

Good quality for the reasonable price. Nice localisation close to Alhambra main entrance, nice area to wander among olive trees. Joanna, from Poland ~ 18th Oct 2011

The hostel is right next to the Alhambra, so if that's what you want, there's no better place to stay at than here. The staff was absent most of the time, so don't count on them to be much help. The room was big, comfortable and clean - exactly what we were looking for. We recommend this place. Abdiel, from USA ~ 10th Oct 2011

This hostel is the perfect stay, when you want to see the Alhambra. You just need to cross the street and are right in front of the entrance. The stuff is friendly and the rooms are perfectly clean and absolutely worth the money. For a "normal holiday stay" you´ll sure find something better, because the rooms are very small, the swimming pool on top okay, but nothing else around to do (except visiting the Alhambra). Very nice hostel, exactly next to the Alhambra. Very friendly and great staff. the room was clean but the bathroom was a little bit small. Everyting is great I can only recommend you if you visit Granada. Great Value for a budget price. Geza, from Hungary ~ 20th Sep 2011

The best things were the large roof terrace with small swimming pool and the location-perfect if you´re visiting the Alhambra as it´s literally a few seconds walk from the entrance. It is quite a steep walk from the rest of the town. We found our room and bathroom very clean although there was no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom! The atmosphere of the place is not good and it feels a little eerie at night when there is no one on reception and all the lights are off. Madeline, from England ~ 10th Sep 2011

We had troubles finding it - don't trust Google maps. But I loved the pool and the room was very small, but very clean though. Katerina, from Czech Republic ~ 4th Sep 2011

There was no internet. The bathroom inside the room was too small. The positive things are that there are a swimming pool and the location is one minute close to the entrance to the Alhambra. Angela, from Spain ~ 19th Aug 2011

The Poasada is in an incredible location, right next to the Alhambra, with a car park next door, and buses downtown every 15 minutes. All three of us thought it incredible value for money Vivien, from England ~ 11th Jul 2011
