Backpackers-Duesseldorf in Dusseldorf, Germany

Kitchen with lots of tables for eating at. Lots of common areas for hanging out. Free breakfast and internet. No locks on dorms but have lockers in dorm for bags. Didnt use the showers. Jessica, from Australia ~ 15th Aug 2009

People working there were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tea, coffee and toast with various spreads. Rooms were unlocked, but large cupboards available for your luggage (bring your own lock or give deposit at reception to borrow one). Hostel is quick busride from train station and in a perfect location to walk to Altstadt, Hafen, Rhein, Königsallee, etc. Disappointents: no toilets on the basement floor and kitchen/dining area closes at 9pm. good hostel, poor location with regard the main area; after we went out one night the taxi driver didnt even know where it was. Staff were good except one weird guy who told us to be quiet and closed our door it was only like 4 or 5 in the morning. didnt have to pay for sheets always a plus ross, from Northern Ireland ~ 23rd Jun 2009

Very handy that you get a map upon arrival with places of interest, toast, tea & coffee for breakfast, helpful staff, spacious, have to put linen on bed yourself, couldn't use wireless in room, only common area, we really enjoyed our stay though, nothing major to complain about Michael, from Australia ~ 8th Mar 2009
