Pretty good location outside of the city. Bus options are all over to go explore. Hostel is clean with internet for a charge, but a free local phone. Not a very lively hostel, but a decent starting point for seeing more of this country.

Great hostel, unfortunately some of the long term guests weren't particularly friendly.

By far, the very very best hostel that I have stayed in! I'm returning in 2 weeks.

A clean, pleasant hostel located in a nice area of Auckland. This is not a hostel where you go to party however as most guests seem to be here for a relatively long time and have jos and such. Still, if you just want to use it as a base to explore Auckland and go walking I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

It's a good place to stay, dawn and jennifer were very helpful and kind. There's no individual lockers. The hostel is very clean - but I must say, my room was smelling bad. Maybe not their fault, I know, but it was.

this was a really nice hostel, with free parking as an added bonus. Mount Eden (the area it is in) is really nice, however it does take a good 45 minutes to walk into the centre of auckland - but you can also get a bus quite cheap. the only complaint is they really need more fridges as they were crammed packed. there are also alot of long term guests staying there!

It would be good to have a locker available in the room.

I loved the location, but it is not in central Auckland. A bus stop is right across the street and a quick 15 minutes.
