We found the place hard to find. The directions which came to us are no longer current (no religious statue). The absentee owner, who had received an email message from us, had not communicated back to either us or his staff. We were able to make satisfactory arrangements in spite of this. The staff at Bambu were great, everyone was really friendly and hospitible. They are all talented musicians and clearly have a good time. The pool and surronding area was clean and made for a nice place to relax. I had a great stay and would recomend this hostel to anyone traveling in the David area. Robert, from Canada ~ 1st Mar 2009

It´s a new hostel and the owners are constsantly adding new things. It is a very friendly place and it is easy to find yourself spending several days just sitting around the pool with the new friends you make. This could easily become the best hostel in David. Krista, from USA ~ 21st Jan 2009
