Banana Bungalow Hollywood in Los Angeles, United States

If you are looking to party, this is probably your place. I wasn't looking to party, so it was kind of weird in that sense, but I still must aknowledge that the hotel was a lot of fun. Anything else was ok, didn't have problems of any kind at all! Patricio, from Argentina ~ 3rd Aug 2009

LA is so spread out it's hard to get a great location. This is right by the walk of fame, but you need a car or bus for everything else. The buses are terrible as you WILL spend half a day waiting and the other half on them. The palce itself is nice enough. I do think the music that was belted out ALL night was poor. Bit of advice - if you are a single traveller try the OTHER Banana bungalow as it is where all the single people appeared to be (certainly the females anyway). The staff was friendly and the location is not too fgar from downtown Hollywood. Theres a big TV screen, free internet and breakfast. So far so good. But the cleanliness....i am used to something and i do understand that these hostels are ususally not the cleanest places, but this was terrible... We shared a room with two guys who stayed in the hostel for months and acted as if the room was their private place. All kinds of undefined food on the floor and everywhere in the room, taking a otto, from Netherlands ~ 24th May 2009
