  • Great balance between fun and relaxed (off season anyway). It's clean, offers plenty of entertainment. it's spacious and the location is fantastic. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple yet comfortable and cleaned daily. Great place to meet people and a good time is guaranteed.

  • Hostels.com failed to mention that Banana Bungalo requires that visitors be from out of the country or have an out of state ID. Fortunately I have an out of state ID, or this trip would have gone rather poorly.

  • It seemed just like any other hostel. The parking lot is underground and rather small, the sheets they give you are clean, but have lots of bleach stains, making you very aware they were stained before you got them (gross!). The fridges to store your food in are not well maintained but not rotten, they do serve breakfast (1 bowl of cereal and 2 pieces of toast) and have an outdoor bar. At night the place was fairly quiet and seemed like the area was relatively safe.
