This was my first hostel experience, and I felt perfectly at home. The atmosphere was so warm - from the comfortable feng shui to the welcoming personalities. There was no need to lock the doors. Everyone felt comfortable talking and laughing with each other, sharing tales about our travels around the beautiful Bar Harbor. I would definitely love to go back to this hostel. A great place to stay... very warm and cosy, with friendly staff and very clean room, kitchen and bathroom. They manage to cram a lot of people in one room, but the tripping over each others luggage/waking up whenever anyone else did was worth it for the location, price and quality. I'd stay there again.
