A quiet hostel located next to the ocean with a definite Bohemian feel to it, I stayed there 4 days in April and another 4 days in May before flying back home. You don't get much traffic noise or diesel fumes like in downtown Lima, and there is a cool breeze coming from the ocean which I really liked. Overall the place is clean and comfortable and worth checking out if you are staying in Lima for more than a day. Curt, from USA ~ 15th May 2012

This hostel has excellent location, situated in bohemic area with beautiful restaurants and cafes and as well few minutes walk to the ocean whole neibourhood has cheerful atmosphere and staff is frendly and helpful. I really have nothing bad to say about this hostel. Maybe that is because I only stayed one night but during that 16 hour stay it was fabulous. I made dinner and breakfast and everything was fantastically clean. I din´t use the facilities other than the bathroom which was splendid! The neighborhood was goregeous. Lots of restaurants and bars and it felt as if I were in Italy. The staff was phenominal! Very helpful. I will definetly return for more than one night this time. Jennifer, from USA ~ 31st Dec 2011

We had a great time staying at Barranco's Backpackers Inn. Chris is extremely helpful and sincere. The facility is clean, vibrant, and energetic. It's a great location close to the ocean and Barranco's nightlife. One suggestion would be to install a keypad so guests can enter the hostel without having to wake up the staff at night. Nothing major - but it is slightly awkward waking up sleeping toddlers and staff at 3 am! Mimi, from USA ~ 17th Jun 2011
