Turned up. Told we could check in at 10...came back at ten, told 11, came back at 11 and were told after 2.. The staff were very poor...the girl there couldnt tell us about any tours or directions as she was not local. Poor customer service, kept telling me to wait while she answered 3 different phone calls. Tour desk bloke was a waste of space and completely uninterested. Not a bad place but let down by useless and unhelpful staff.

Very sociable hostel with a good bar and plenty to do. Loved the showers and the lockers under the bed.

Fun place to be, the bar always has something on and its in a good location. Everything was great except the cleanliness. It was a tad smelly in the hallways, kitchen was rank and a little mould in the rooms, but nothing to worry about. Overall a nice place to stay!

I only stayed 1 night. It attracts a younger crowd, but has a funky bar & is well equipped. Good location: short walk to Acland Street & trams. I stayed in The Sanctuary: just for females-towels incl. Bthrm was big but wsn't the cleanest! Evrythng is new but all extras are extra dollars- net:$5, brkfst: $6 & you have to pay for 'airport style' lockers for left luggage...don't think I've paid for luggage storage anywhere...Otherwise, new, friendly, well equipped hostel in a great location.

Brilliant Hostel, staff were nice, spotlessly clean! Location is fantastic because St Kilda has loads of nice cafe\'s, restaurants and quirky shops but theres a tram stop literally over the road to get you round the rest of Melbourne. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommended, Awesome atmosphere and just a great place to stay
the most amazing backpackers i have ever stayed in. we were in the girls only rooms and they were like modern hotel rooms. atmosphere is fresh and location is only a tram away from melbourne city and metres away from st kilda beach. extremely clean, staff are wonderful, and bar down stairs is what makes it so much fun. great for young crowd. absolutly adored it. would come back anyday
