A lot of things didn't go right when I got there like the door wouldn't open so I couldn't get in to the hostel on my own as a wheelchair user. The staff were very good in sorting it out and I would stay there again!

Base was by far the worst hostel we\'ve stayed at in the last 10 weeks.The kitchen was filthy\\under equipt. We did not attempt to cook there in fact we could\'nt make coffee because there ws no cups\\glasses when I complained they did nothing! The shower room had a vent cover missing allowing a force 6 gale to blow through the place and the rooms where only vacumed in the centre of the floor. Avoid this place like the plague!!!! There are much better in Sydney.

There's not much going for this place other than the location, which couldn't be better. The building however looks like it hasn't had any substantial money spent on it in recent times. It's kept in a condition that's almost acceptable. The bathrooms are filthy and the sockets in many rooms do not work. The steam iron in the laundry room is leaking everywhere and rather than replace it there is a wet floor sign. I use this hostel for it's central location but it hasn't much else to offer.

Excellent hostel centrally located in Sydney, also stayed in the Melbourne Base which was even better. Always busy and things going on, with comfortable beds and helpful staff.
very nice, specilly location and people...little expensive, yo have to pay for everything!! (breakfast, internet, bagage store) so, at the end you spend much money
Bathrooms were not clean. Our room over the Scary Canary bar was noisy - ear plugs helped.
Great experience, great nice and helpful staff, cleanest backpacker I've seen so far. Effort is being made to promote social events. The double rooms are like in a hotel. Great experience.
Helpful staff, clean facilities and awesome roomates. What more could you ask for?
