After staying for 2 nights, I find it reassuring to know that I stayed at the right place, not only that the location is accessible to all the places that I want to visit,staff are friendly and the "sanctuary" is very safe for a lady who wants privacy. FIVE STAR *****for BASE

A great hostel for Christchurch. Right in the centre, easy to get everywhere from here. The rooms are clean and big with nice beds.

Great place if you are looking for a party. Kitchen was small and dirty and unequipped. Bathrooms were disgusting on the first floor, but if you go to the 2nd floor they're a bit better. Location was pretty good right in the square. Our suggestion, go to Charlie B's.

The sanctuary girls' dorm is EXCELLENT!! The kitchen was a bit filthy that day.
