  • This is the best hostel I have been to so far. Has nothing to criticize and will definitely come again on my next visit.

  • You cannot compare a hostel with a hotel for obvious reasons ! But, I would compare 2 hostels that I have stayed in Bath until now.i.e. Bath Backpackers (I will refer it as BB) and YHA. There is no clear winner ! Location - BB wins hands down as near to train+bus station + city center (virtually part of it). Kitchen - BBs Kitchen was in bad condition (smelly and dirty). In this respect YHA was much better i.e. bigger and cleaner kitchen

  • If you need to stay in bath for night, this place is good. Staff aren't very friendly bit the beds are comfy and the kitchen works.

  • So easy to find and close to everything. There are security codes on doors instead of keys, which gives quite a secure feeling and good lockers in room. In process of rennovation, but still clean and showers have the best pressure!

  • Yeah, i was quite happy! Just one thing was not that good... it would be very good to find a solution who to put the luggage in a safty place in the room. Like lockable lattice boxesnunder the bad.

  • Lots of customers were annoyed and unsatisfied. They didn't care about customer's problems and desires.

  • Want to save a little money? Don't! Toilet falling off, dirty showers with broken locks, everything is dilapidated and dirty.

  • This is a good place to stay for a night or two and perfectly located near train station and sights, but if you are fussy about cleanliness in kitchens, you may consider eating elsewhere. The cleanliness in rooms and bathrooms were ok. There was no breakfast even though their sister hostel in Oxford provides that.

  • Though the location and the staff were great, the setup of the building was pretty inconvenient. The bathrooms and showers were located in the basement, which meant I had to walk down 3 flights of steps from my room to get there. Also the automatic lights are impossible to turn back on while taking a shower without leaving the shower stall...so that was fun.
