This place was very well located and felt secure, but was lacking in social opportunities. As a young woman traveling alone I felt safe staying there, but everyone in the lobby was usually on their laptops so that made it harder to get to know folks. The staff were friendly and I was able to do my laundry, but breakfast was nothing to write home about.

I would not recommend staying in this hostel to anyone. The location is farther from the train station thant directions indicate, the shower facilities barely fit a grown person or work. The rooms are overfilled with beds and not space and the lockers are on the floor below.

We loved our time at the Bath YMCA. The common area allowed us to meet lots of nice people and overall it was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All staff were very helpful and breakfast great. Showers were horrible, either didn´t drain or were cold and weren´t cleaned enough. Even so we would definitely stay there again.

Excellent staff, the most helpful i've encountered anywhere so far. Nothing was too much trouble. Very secure and clean, good amenities and very close to Bath central, good resturants, etc. No complaints, only compliments. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great hostel! It was quite, clean, and well situated. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. I would go back in an instant.

Brilliant location, a good mix of travellers and nice staff. However our room for 2 people was very spartan with very stained carpet and chairs. Also a pity there was only one shower for our floor. The breakfast included in the price was ok but very plain and limited choice with diluted fruit juice! It's probably good value for the centre of Bath but the room was quite depressing.
