we had a really great time at this hostel, its much more like a hotel which is nice but can be quite formal compared to hostels. the bar is great really good way to meet people, recommended but not ideal for people who want the real hostel experience!

MY stag do was in Berlin and we stopped in. Friendly staff with good advice were to go and no curfew (would have been fine as it was 9am when we got in) I\'d also recomend the first week in Aug as the beer festival is great

The rooms weren't cleaned thoroughly enough after people left. The 30 bed dorm had no lighting whatsoever which made it very difficult to do anything. THe staff didnt seem to know much about the tours they advertised for New Europe, and the breakfast was too expensive. I've stayed in other hostels in Belrin where the exact same breakfast was free!!!

Overall a very good hostel with an excellent location. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Only slight negative was that it wasnt quite as clean as other German hostels i've stayed in. It wasnt dirty by any means but there is room for improvement. Whether this was an isolated incident in the room i was staying in i dont know.
