The staff is really helpful. It's very good located. The lobby is cosy and you can meet fellow travellers. The whole building looks brand new from the inside. The mattresses and beds are also new but the beds are made of steel tubes and are really noisy when your roommates move during the knight. The prices vary a lot from one night to another, so sometimes you can pay almost twice for the same bed. Eventhough I would stay again at Baxpax Mitte! Alan, from Chile ~ 17th May 2012

A good hostel. Comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, a kitchen with adequate equipment. The only thing that needs improvement - it is showers. Inconvenient sloping slippery (and therefore dangerous) ground. There is no shelf for soap / shampoo. Saving electricity - it's good, but when the lights go out during washing - unpleasant. I paid 7 euros/night for a 12-bed mixed dorm. It's difficult to find the hostel when you first arrive, since it is located inside a small lot, and the sign is quite small. When you exit the U-bahn station, head north for about 200 metres and it should be on your left. You have to walk down a hallway, press a buzzer, and then walk/elevator up 3 flights, and then another buzzer to get to reception. Key cars are RFID.
