Totally out of the way - dirty, messy Owner really rude when I pointed out dirt under the beds - overly rotten food in the drawers - bath clogged up with black hairs etc etc - booked fot 10 nights - stayed a few hours I travel all over - definantly the worst hostel ever - this is a crash pad for migrant workers. Among three in Fort Lauderdale this hostel manager (temporary one from UK) has demonstrated the least attention to visitors. Hostel rooms have the least in terms of arrangements among three in Fort Lauderdale. Another one nearby and Bridge II personnel have much better attitude based on two visits to F.L. this and last year. Elmira, from Kazakhstan ~ 23rd Mar 2009

Wow, what a wierd 'hostel', it is full of old people! It seems like old Canadian people are just living here. There are limited office hours so never got my key deposit back. I would not call it clean..has good potential but is is just down right strange place... it close to the beach, one good thing... Laura, from USA ~ 6th Feb 2009

Staff were courtious and helpful in arranging airport pickup, which is a big plus when one doesn't know their way around.... allan, from Canada ~ 23rd Mar 2009

Horrible hostel. Dont stay here. Place is filled with junkies that stay there long term. i woke up to use the toilet at 430 and 2 guys were watching gay porn in the living room. i couldnt believe it. not to mention the cleaning lady found my credit card and did not even call me to get it back. she planned on keeping it i guess. i had to ask the brazilian guy who was my roomate to ask for it. it was a big complicated situation. DO NOT STAY HERE. PAY THE EXTRA FOR A HOTEL. Joseph, from USA ~ 7th Jan 2009

The girls I stayed with were wonderful, and Gus, the owner's brother, went over and beyond his call of duty to make sure I had a place to sleep the evening I came in (2:30am, New Year's Day)! Thank you! Close to the beach. Jeanette, from USA ~ 4th Jan 2009

Great location, right at the edge of A1A beach front - perfect! The staff was wonderful and very nice. This would have ben my first stay in a hostel, but I chose the sleep at Hampton Inn because the smell in the room made me ill, but that's just me. Residents seemed very happy. They consisted of a young hip crowd of business people and international travellers. For rock bottom rates, stay here - $20/night. I need more time to get used to the hostel concept, but I will stay here in the future Jason, from USA ~ 15th Nov 2008
