The privacy could improve in the down stairs en suite rooms during day time , tinted windows or non see through sheer curtains in front of existing curtains may do the trick.This would enable to leave curtains open with flywire door closed to enjoy night temperature without air conditioning on david, from Australia ~ 14th Jul 2009

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Free drink and free breakfast included in stay, great value for a hostel, it was far more like a resort hotel. Friends who stayed in the Cable Beach Backpackers were very jealous!It's a lovely quiet relaxing place to stay. On the downside the hostel lacks a real buzz or atmosphere and some of the reception staff weren't very friendly and welcoming but overall a highly recommended place to stay in Broome.
