very nice place with many typical bedwin sofas to relax and have a narguile, swimming pool and friendly staff. excellent place for snorkling (beautiful corals and fish). Great rooms with climatized air, and tents for lower budget but beware of heat and mosquitos. its about 10kms far from aqaba so you need to take a bus or taxis to get there.

The place was definitely well-kept, clean, and surprisingly nice for its low cost. Unique atmosphere with tents, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and friendly staff. However, I have two sticking points: the location is terrible. Sure, it's close to the beach, but it's very far from Aqaba and the Israeli border. I was not entirely oblivious to this -- I knew it was not in downtown Aqaba -- but I didn't realize it was *this* far; the Saudi Arabian border must have been right around the corner. Also, the place did not feel secure. The gate at the front did not lock well and the tents, obviously, don't lock either. I had my laptop with me and I basically slept holding on to it. There isn't 24-hour reception, so it seems the only security provided is the fact that the Garden Village is in a remote location.

the bedouin garden village is located a short taxi ride away from Aqaba but i found this to be an advantage. a short walk away from the red sea and even rents snorkling gear. we were there in the low season so it was very quiet but with no less than four lounge areas as well as a pool on site i can only imagine how busy it must be in the high season. i would definatley tell my friends to stay here, especially if they want to be outside the city and close to the beach.

I booked a four bed dorm and ended up in a tent.

i booked a room...which turned out to be a tent. i ended up paying more when i got there to solve this. the room was nice, good shower, clean. the staff was nice. just kindof misleading. the beach that it is on was very nice...though the place is at least 10km outside of aquaba. i would stay there again though, was a very cute place.

The location of the Bedouin Garden has both positives and negatives. It is located a bit of a distance from Aquaba to pick up supplies, however if you are catching the ferry to nuweiba, its perfect as you only need to hitch hike two bays back for the early ferry to egypt. Oh and the pool and deck chair facilities were excellent, meaning you don't spend too much time in your room

We like staying near the Red Sea, so this location is ideal for us. We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant in the hostel cooks everything fresh and the food is authentic. We were able to rent snorkeling equipment right here and walk over to the beach and spend the day in the warm clear water seeing many different types of fish.

Close to beaches with a GREAT view. Cozy place. Not close to downtown. Pool and restaurant on-site. Friendly owner will help you plan your trip.

Mixed feelings - the facilities are great. Our room was not so great. Our "tent" turned out to be a rickety straw hut with no door. The blankets gave 2/3 of us skin rashes; we were all attacked by mosquitoes whizzing by our ears at night. The "room" option seems decent though. The staff was pretty friendly til the last day, when they became strangely cold. One took us to the port, then asked us for more money than a taxi would have. Overall an alright experience, but not sure if I'd return.

Jamel was extremely helpful as a manager. The place itself is very relaxing, however the food leaves a little to be desired. Ahmed who works the front desk is great and always does his best to make you feel welcome. If the city Aqaba is not for you, then I highly recommend staying here. James 15/04/008
