the youth hostel is situated 3floors down the street level,no windows.no own keys, floor staff comes and opens your door each time you leave your room.shared bathroom/showers in very bad condition,the smell of urine everywhere.young man at the internet room was very friendly and made up for a lot.stayed one night and moved to tai long hotel,paid just 4rmb more and the room was beautiful and private bathroom so clean.can recommend that place to everyone without a doubt.

We had originally had a room booked for three days in the Hostel but left after only one night. If you can get over the fact that you're four floors below ground level where one of the fire exits we tried (because the elevator was stuck on another floor) was crudely chained shut at the ground level, then the fact that the whole place smelled of sewage might put you off. The room was clean enough, but the washrooms and showers were disgusting. Other than the friendly staff and location(a couple blocks from the Forbidden City) we would never return and wouldn't suggest it to anyone. There are plenty of other cheap places nearby.

The rooms and the hostel was clean, but the toilets and shower was not so fresh. The staff was helpful and nice. If you wanna stay at a good location at a good price you should take the Eastern Morning hostel, but if you have problem with the old school toilets and shower, you should pick another hostel.

The guesthouse is situated 4th floor unerground !!! It was a big surprise to us because is not clearly mentionned on the website.
No double bed available by opposition to the website, which do mention it. No aeration in the room. Very dirty toilets. This concerns the East part of the Hotel

we stayed here for over a week, and we just loved it! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The locations are great, you can walk to the forbidden City, and there is a huge mall, just next door!
