great location-walking distance to forbidden city, nice rooms, clean, not that expensive...seems more like a hotel than a hostel, though!
The hostel was very comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful. The hostel feels more like a hotel, i.e it's not very lively. It's about a 25 mins walk tops from the Forbidden City and a 10min walk from one of the busiest shopping street in Beijing. Loads of food courts etc to eat in for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Great location (right by the Forbidden City and Tiannamen Square) ... it\'s basically a budget hotel (which is great for the price). Staff are okay, however use the bathroom before you checkout because once you\'ve checked out the staff could care less that you spent money there for the past 4 days and that you want to pee before you go ... left a bad impression and therefore we wouldn\'t go back as you will spend way more then necessary to stay in Beijing

I spend 4 nights here. It was decent. Travelling alone, I wanted a safe place and I felt that this was. I wouldn't say it was the most amazing place I've ever stayed. But it had everything I needed. It was clean, safe and pretty friendly. The poachers on bar street is better if you want a lively place. I did pop in to 2 other hostels while in Beijing .One had no common room and the other was more like a building site. On balance I think I did well to stay here!

This stay was really great ! I really appreciated the fact that the rooms were extremely clean ! It really looks like a real hotel and not like a hostel ! If I come back beijing, I will book again for sure there !!! Great place to stay, also for families !

The front desk staff and room staff were always very friendly and helpful for the week we were there. The rooms were very clean and well serviced. Also a great central location. However, the restaurant and bar staff were rude and lazy and the food was poor. The breakfast buffet was overpriced and usually cold. Some food was leftover from the previous day. Overall, a great place to stay, just don\'t eat there!

Good hostel, a littel "cold" and hotel- like, but good room with softest beds I had in China, clean bathroom with goos shower. Food is not very good and the area is mainly only convenient for forbidden city.It is very big so they should usually have rooms avaiable which is good.
A very clean hostel with a nice staff that speaks good english. No complains here!
