- “ Great value for the price. Very nice area, right in a hutong and a short walk to Tiananmen square. The room was warm, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was not great. The toilet seat was broken off and laying on the floor. The bathroom handle was also broken enough that it could not be locked, which wasn't ideal in a mixed dorm room. However, I would definitely stay here again because of the great location and excellent price. It's very close to the west train station by bus. ”

- “ Hi, I enjoyed my stay at Beijing Leo Courtyard Hostel. Room was quite good and hotel location was also ok.it was easy reachable from main street. Though the toilet was not clean.Rest everything was acceptable. ”

- “ The hostel is located about 700m from the nearest station of Qianmen in the midst of hutong. Those not familiar with Chinese may find the hostel hard to find. I got a private room with a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The hostel only provided toilet paper and no other toiletries. The floor was also dusty and not cleaned. At 160 RMB a night, this room was cheaper than others in Beijing. I guess I got for I paid for. ”

- “ Lovely courtyard makes up for the absolutely horrible room. We had tiles falling off in our bathroom. The staff tries to be helpful but knows nearly no English. ”

- “ When I turned up at the hostel the staff immediately found record of my booking, however, they had already sold my room! This had also happened to at least 3 other people I met who had reservations. In the end I was put into a private room with two other people who were supposed to be in dorms. The quality of the room was certainly inferior to that of the dorms and I felt it was just perhaps a workers room. The two girls at the front were very kind but the manager not so. Look elsewhere. ”

- “ Location is good, just next to the Tian An Men square, price is reasonable. Facilities are ok for backpackers, only toilets and showers could be cleaner. And in the dormitory rooms it is often that cleaners just at 8 o'clock in the morning get inside the room where 5 travelers are sleeping and just start to make a bed for the sixth person who just left. Could wait a bit, because anyway earlier than 2 PM you can't check in, that was annoying maybe because I was very tired. ”

- “ When I was here in July and it rained water came from the ceiling down on to some of the beds. Besides this issue, my stay was great. Perfect location and directions to this hostel were easy to follow. Could recommend this hostel to everyone. ”

- “ Nice location,close to subway.Dazhalan is a very crowded place,there are a lot of shops,bars and place of dining. I really like Leo Courtyard,I was there before as a visitor,but this time I lived there. There is a small bar on the fisrt floor where you kind find breakfasts,european and chinese traditional food. Thank you for this experience! ”

- “ It is an hostel just to spend a couple of nights, dont expect to much. The rooms we founded dirty, you have to ask for the room service each day, otherways you will not get it. Ah, and there is a cat going around. ”

- “ Cant expect much when you pay a little. Was OK it will take u sometime to find from the Metro station. If you're taking a taxi, please please ask them to call the place. It is very hard to find. ”
