- “ I stayed in a private room and it was ok. The poor thing, for me was to have free wifi just in the reception (always crowded) and I think the breakfast was expensive. ”

- “ The hostel was a little farther away from the city center but easy in walking distance. The breakfast was not included and there was not really a chance to cook and prepare something for yourself because kitchen opening hours were ridiculous. You were forced to buy something from their in-house cafeteria. The rooms were quite nice but the beds looked very unsafe and unstable. I think you can get better value for the same money! ”

- “ Overall a good stay though it was difficult to sleep because of the plastic cover that they put over mattress (sheets kept slipping off). Also, the night staff was not very friendly. ”

- “ Clean room and common spaces, but there was a funny odor in our room. Very squeaky beds, almost expected to collapse in the night. Gated parking lot felt very secure. ”

- “ WIFI is not free, the opening hours of kitchen are not enough and it´s a noisy hostel. Staff does not make this hostel a warm place either. ”

- “ Can't really complain... it was a comfortable bed and a clean hostel. If you want free WiFi that might be a problem, but no other issues ”

- “ Perhaps it s because Belfast is a capital.. but I missed more warmth and interest from most of the staff people I met. Some did their job, nothing else. Some showed some human warmth... I know they see plenty of newcomers to the hostel, but for us who arrive, it s often after a long trip. It was also a bit weird with these people who seemed to live at the hostel... sure they can, but it s not the same as meeting people who are travelling. ”

- “ As an 'old' Youth Hosteller I am pleased to be able to still stay in hostels and glad that I did not have to climb to the top bunk! The library had a copy of 80 years of hostelling in N. Ireland and it was great to see the photos of hostels like Bloody bridge, Minerstown, Kinnahalla, knockbarra, Silent Valley Whitepark Bay etc. places I stayed in many years ago when my father introduced us to hostelling in the Mountains of Mourne and cycling down the Antrim coast. Margaret. ”

- “ We enjoyed our stay, and all the people we met from different parts of the world. The only problem with security was that the door to our room didn't always lock on closure - and it would open again if just pushed. The place was very clean over all, but the pipes in our showere room were very dirty behind the bowl, and strip light didn't work. Double mattress was rather stained, but bedding given very clean. ”
