I cant exaclty comment on the hostel because I arrived, went and waited inside and left due to: flooded hostel, everywhere! I waited for an hour and no one showed up, they were sleeping. Water was going everywhere including electrial appliances and didnt trust the accom.

Sometimes it is not the hostel that makes the trip but the people and that was the case with our time in bells company.The hostel owner is a top guy and really makes the place what it is.We had crap weather but the place was still a hive of excitment buzzing from the owner thru the whole place.

A great location next to a nice beach! However, when it rains, it also rains inside and there is not much to do... then you can esp. not get rid of the quite loud music from midday till late. Therefore, something for sunny days on the beach. The hostel staff is friendly and helpful. The kitchen is not clean.

What a fabulous view this hostel has ! I couldn't have asked for a better view....hummm dolphin watching from the bar deck was great ! Its location is also perfect for trekking and surf classes at next beach/Matadeiro....very relaxing time....The staff is very friendly too, Gecko is lovely !
Cannot beat being right on the beach. Gueko and the other staff make this place great. We loved our stay here! Would definitely stay here again when in Florianopolis.

Lovely hostel right on the beach. The kitchen isn't great and there is a bit of an insect problem but if you can see past that you will have a great time here. The guy who runs the hostel..Geko is lovely and makes everybody feel at home

This is a good hostel if you need a break from travelling and partying every night. It is as close as you can get to the beach with out getting wet.The staff are great,the rooms are ok,but it is a hostel. When we stayed there,there was only one other couple staying there.Close to a gret surf beach and also a quiet sun baking beach.If you want to party stay the other end of Florianopolis,This hostel is 40 mins from anywhere,but we didnt care we were happy to lie on the beach and relax.
You could not be closer to the beach... wake up with the sound of the sea
