Great location! Fun, clean, friendly, and a great place to meet people, this place has two \"family rooms\" and a kitchen for you to use. Also a rooftop terrace that overlooks the port and fish market. So close to everything you want to see and breakfast too (although you do have to pay for it). A warning though: Norway is the most expensive place in Europe, so although it is BEAUTIFUL, you will pay for it if you stay too long. No complaints about the hostel though.

I was not happy with the location of the shower room which can be seen from the entrance from the street. But the kitchen was good. You can buy fresh fish at the market and cook it!

Very nice. Showers are in the room. They have a terrace on the roof of the house. Unfortunately the kitchen is very small and not very clean. It is not a big fun to cook for yourself there.
The 32 bed dorm is very big. But the guy who was sleeping below me was snoring in the middle of the night and at least 4 people woke up. I had to move the bunker bed to stop him from snoring. This dorm is ok if you are only planing on staying for one night. The showers were communal (there was no divider). The best thing about this place was the location, it cannot be better, right next to the fish market, bryggen and tourist info. You have to pay for linen and you cannot bring your own. They should include the linen in the price if you have to pay it anyways.

i like that our 6 person dorm room had a bathroom in it, so only 6 of us had to share as oppose to an entire floor. also it was quite clean and we had a quiet room, so that was nice!
