The breakfast was great! Waffles, toast, eggs, cereal, juice..the best I've ever eaten at a hostel. While you have to put up with a profuse amount of older ladies rambling about, it's a pretty neat setup otherwise. Stay here in you're a serious traveler that wants to see Boston and then return home to a quiet and comfortable room. In private three person room you have two outlets, lamp, table, two large closets, sheets, blankets, and towels upon request. Numerous bathrooms, with a bathtub! Hannah, from USA ~ 13th Nov 2009

the location is perfect, it's very walkable to everywhere. My friend and I stayed over the weekend and we both had a great experience here. There were some weird people but we didn't care MARIANA, from Mexico ~ 9th Nov 2009

Good location for a good price. Everything is a bit old though...time for renovation. And showers than can all be closed would be a great addition to the hostel. Other than that friendly staff and good breakfast. If u r short on cash I would recommend the YMCA residence. Izabiliza Liliane, from Netherlands ~ 4th Nov 2009

All The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, also keeping a good check on security. Bathrooms offer unisex or female only and were kept very clean. The room walls are paper thin so no getting rowdy as residents may live next to you. Only oatmeal, grapefruit, and cereal were vegan options, but many yummy selections for others. You can park for free overnight on Saturday nights on Broad St, otherwise for $20 park overnight at Pinstripe Parking on 130 Arlington St (a few blocks). Good location and the breakfast was not bad. The scenery from my room was awesome and the roon was clean enough. But the smell was annoying in the room. I needed to open the window or the door to let fresh air in all the time. JeongYun, from South Korea ~ 13th Nov 2009

Its definitely a PLUS that some staff speak Spanish. The location is great- just a couple minutes away from the theater district and a 7/11 just across the street. The breakfast is EXCELLENT and the best I have ever had during the last 10 years of staying in hostels: fresh fruit, yogurt, omelette, fresh waffles and all kinds of different drinks. The rooms smell funny, but thats because the buildings in general in Boston are very old. Whenever I visit Boston again, I will stay at this hostel Ira, from Germany ~ 25th Oct 2009

You won't find a better location in the city of Boston for this price. There's so much within a 20 min walk but if exercise isn't your thing, the subway is a 5 min stroll up the street. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for explore Boston but not drop heavy $$ on a hotel. Pat - Lansing, MI Pat, from USA ~ 13th Sep 2009
