me and my girlfriend stayied just for three nights. The location is very good, becouse the S-Bahn is just in front of the hostel, the street where it's placed have lots of services, like bars, pubs and cafes. we never dwelled the kitchen, so i cannot say how it was. the bathrooms were very clear (i find this is the very feature of this hostel). a big flaw: the curtains!!! at 8 o'clock ther's the sun in the room, even if you closed them (they're white as milky cream!).

There is no common area really and you need to pay for the kitchen. This hostel felt more like an isolated dorm than an living area that fosters meeting lots of people and hanging out. Otherwise it definitely did the trick: comfortable, clean and secure.

near the charlottenburg train station, 5 stops from the hauptbanhof. it was about a 10 minute walk to the kurfurstendam. we had a private twin room with a tv. the shower down the hall was clean and the water was warm. the front desk people were very helpful with questions, and they even booked a bus trip around town for my son and me. breakfast was available and certainly less expensive than the cafes nearby. overall, we enjoyed our stay. this seemed more like a hotel than a hostel
