I enjoyed staying at Bextel. They had everything available for use that a hostel should have: Internet, breakfast, a/c, excellent friendly staff (that really takes care of you and doesn't try to take advantage of you), excellent information on things to do in Singapore, as well as things to do in the Hostel if rainy. Even though relatively far from tourist area, buses and MRT are easy to use. Highly Recommend.

Very nice staff! The neighbourhood is beautiful and it´s full of places to eat. The hostel has Internet, DVD, books, kitchen and many information about getting around, where to stay, etc...

If you're going to stay in Singapore, definately stay here! Good location, excellent dorms, really helpful staff, and the free breakfast buffet is legendary, especially when you're as broke as I was!

Pretty quiet hostel, not a place to get to know lots of ppl but decent breakfast, free Internet & very friendly people. about 6k\'s out of the city but regular buses. Fairly good!
This hostel is AWESOME!!! I was in the female dorm which was big enough for the amount of people and had aircon. The free breakfasts are wicked and you have to try all the random fruit and it runs till 12! Free tea and coffee all day everyday - what more could you ask for!! The staff are so helpful - a definite mut for singapore!!!

Hi Tony, Din and Justin; Just wanted to say a massive thank you for an amazing time. My journey perfectly started with you. Betel Box is a great backpackers hostel to stay. Don`t loose your time to look for another place. I hope you`ll not miss Tony\'s Famous Foodwalk in the district around the hostel. This is not only a foodwalk but also you`ll learn the history of the Singapore. Highly Recommended.
Awesome place, the super friendly staff are great and it makes all the guests relaxed and more friendly to each other. Great place to meet friends.
