Big Apple Hostel Istanbul in Cairo, Turkey

This Hostel is Perfect in every way, Just go there if you are in Istanbul. I am thankful to the Staff who co-operated with me in such a nice way, and for everything, Especially Naveed. I am definately comming back to stay here. I loved it. 10 out of 10. Hitesh, from India ~ 20th Oct 2011

- no security box in the room as claimed. - breakfast very standard and gets worst by the day. The view is quite nice. - service is cold and almost hostile. It makes you wonder why you are there. The young people that worked there were nice but the older ones were not very friendly. - they said they will try their best to make your stay comfortable but no, they are not helpful and not flexible. - i came away with bed bugs also!! - the room i was in was very noisy but that's expected since XIU, from USA ~ 28th Sep 2011

Excellent location, lots of bars and restaurants in the lold town. Very close to the Blue Mosque ect. Not a party hostel, but great group of travellers, cheap beer on a great roof top terrace that overlooks the bosphorous. Mark, from Canada ~ 28th Sep 2011

Very nice location, central and convenient. The rooms are nice and clean and so are the bathrooms. The mixed dorms were decent price but I thought the double room was a bit pricey almost 76$/night. One of the things I look for is a clean bathroom and they had one person constantly cleaning up to make sure that the dorm bathrooms remained clean for the next person's use.Sharan who was at the desk during the day was extremely helpful and gave us good tips for sightseeing etc. The AC in our dorm wa Nikhil, from India ~ 14th Sep 2011

The location is excellent, the staff was nice and friendly, one taught me many Turkish words and another "sang" me happy birthday (with the help of the computer) : ) My only complaint would be the drain in the shower in the 14 bed dorm (it did not drain well) and the lock that didn't seem to work very well in the other bathroom.
